Dr. Michael Hartle

Dr. Michael Hartle is not only a chiropractic physician, but he is also a board-certified Clinical Nutritionist (DACBN), a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP), an Active Release Technique (ART) provider since 1995, and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He is also a Master StrongFirst Certified Instructor with StrongFirst (StrongFirst.com). He is the co-developer of the StrongFirst SFL Barbell Certification. Dr. Michael travels around the USA and the world teaching barbell and kettlebell certifications. He is currently in his second year of getting his Ph.D. in Exercise Science.

Raised in the frozen tundra known as Minnesota, he once lived in Hawai’i while his father was stationed at Pearl Harbor during Vietnam. He has been practicing in Fort Wayne, Indiana for the last 26 years.

A former nationally-ranked powerlifter, who has won several national titles with USA Powerlifting, Dr. Michael was the Vice President for 2 years in addition to being the Drug Testing Chairman for 5 years. He was also the Chairman of the Sports Medicine Committee of USA Powerlifting (USAPL) for over 20 years, a committee he created in 1994 with USAPL. Starting in 1998, he was the Head Coach of the USAPL World Bench Press Team for 8 years, coaching the US Team to the 2004 International Powerlifting Federation World Championship Team Title. His best competition lifts are 705 lb. squat, 535 lb. bench press and 635 lb. deadlift with a best combined total of the three lifts of 1,840 lbs. in the former 275 lb. weight class.

For the next 10 years, he was playing semi-pro football, defensive tackle, and loving it! His football team, the Adams County Patriots, won the National AA Semi-Pro Football Championship in 2008 and were undefeated for 2 years straight!

He treats, trains and advises to all kinds of patients, from pregnant moms and babies to the elderly, from youth athletes to NCAA student-athletes to professional athletes. He coached junior high football and track and field, volunteering his time for 16 years. He has three sons and three grandchildren who keep him busy with their personal endeavors, including crawling, hockey, football, lacrosse, track and field and of course, academics.

Holli Sauer

Holli Sauer is the clinic Office Manager/Chiropractic Assistant/Doctor’s right hand person. She has been with the clinic since June 2018.

She was born and raised in Fort Wayne. She graduated from Wayne High School in 1994. From there she went on to attend college at Indiana Institute of Technology where she studied Accounting and Finance. She graduated with an Associate Degree in Accounting and a Bachelor Degree in Finance. After pursuing the Accounting path for 5 years, she decided to pursue a career where she could be around and help people. That is when she went back to school and earned her Associate Degree in Medical Assisting.

Holli is married and has one child, an 11 year old boy who helps keep her on her toes. She also has four cats that are just as ornery as her son. In her spare time, Holli likes to read, go to movies, spend time outside, and enjoy time with her family and friends.

Joshua Poulin

Joshua Poulin is our Massage Therapist. He was born and raised in New England. In 1995, he moved to Florida where he met his wife (of 20+ years), became a father, and had a successful career in hospice nursing. After 8 years in that field, he decided to pursue a different route and attended Heritage Institute in Jacksonville, Florida, and studied massage and body work. He attained his first licensure in massage in April of 2005. He and his family moved here to the Fort Wayne area in 2013. In his career to date, he has worked with college and professional athletes and organizations, physical rehabilitation patients, prenatal clients, as well as people with more common-place pain issues. He specializes in deep tissue, trigger point therapy, neuromuscular therapy, shiatsu, and sports massage, but is also versed in a number of other modalities.

Micalah Boddy

Micalah Boddy is one of our chiropractic assistants. Micalah was born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico. After graduating from high school, Micalah promptly moved to Tampa, Florida to receive her Associate in Arts. She then went on to receive her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a Minor in Chemistry from the University of South Florida. While in Tampa, Micalah met her fiancé and made the decision to move to Indiana in 2019. Upon arriving in Fort Wayne, she worked as a Behavioral Health Specialist until she made the decision to work with the team at Allen County Family and Sports Chiropractic.

Micalah lives on a farm with her fiancé, two dogs and four horses. She was recently accepted and will be attending the Accelerated Nursing Program at Indiana University here in Fort Wayne, in Fall 2022 to receive a second Bachelor’s in Nursing with the ultimate goal of becoming a Nurse Practitioner. When she is not in the barn or studying, you can find Micalah sipping coffee and planning her wedding.

Kathryn (Katy) Fagg

Katy Fagg is one of the chiropractic assistants we have in the clinic and joined us in June 2022. Her presence in our rehabilitation facility will grow more and more the longer she is with us. She strives to gain knowledge and experience in physical fitness so she may teach those around her to become stronger and healthier.

She attended Bishop Luers High school where she graduated in the class of 2020. She was a varsity cheerleader for three years and was awarded captain her senior year. Cheerleading has been a part of Katy’s life since she was 7 years old. She decided she loved it too much to walk away and now chooses to continue her cheerleading life as a coach at Bishop Luers.

Katy is a proud dog mom to Stella and in her spare time, loves to take her on car rides to Starbucks. She enjoys listening to music while taking long evening drives and visiting Lake Wawasee on occasion.
